A Beautiful Night on the Lake for Heartbeat for Hunger

Over 500 friends, neighbors, supporters, and music lovers gathered on a beautiful summer evening for the second annual Heartbeat for Hunger, benefiting the White Bear Area Food Shelf.

Set against the stunning backdrop of White Bear Lake, attendees enjoyed perfect weather, great company, and unforgettable performances from NUNNABOVE and Frankie Torres. Throughout the evening, friends of all ages danced, sang along, and relaxed on the lawn while supporting our mission to ensure everyone in our community has access to nutritious food.

The energy was incredible from start to finish. Many guests told us they loved the outdoor setting, describing the event as welcoming, fun, and full of positive community spirit. The combination of live music, lakeside views, open space, and a shared commitment to helping neighbors in need created something truly special.

Heartbeat for Hunger continues to bring together two things our community loves: great local music and a meaningful opportunity to make a difference. Whether attendees came as fans of NUNNABOVE or Frankie Torres, discovered the event through friends, spotted one of the many banners around town, or simply wanted to support the food shelf, they all became part of an evening centered on connection and generosity.

As food insecurity continues to increase in our community, gatherings like Heartbeat for Hunger remind us what is possible when people come together around a common purpose. More than a fundraiser, the event was a celebration of community, compassion, and the belief that everyone deserves access to healthy food.

Events like Heartbeat for Hunger are only possible because of the incredible support of our community. Thank you to everyone who joined us for Heartbeat for Hunger 2026. We can't wait to see you next year!
