Carol Anibas recently joined the White Bear Area Food Shelf staff as our Interim Volunteer Coordinator. She has served as a regular food shelf volunteer for four years, serving in almost every volunteer role we have to offer here. Carol’s role will include recruiting, training, scheduling and supporting all of the dedicated food shelf volunteers. Previously, she worked in the computer software industry for over 20 years, collaborating with internal teams and clients to deliver programs to meet the needs of newspapers around the world. Although originally from Wisconsin, she has lived in White Bear Lake for over 30 years and is excited to work with volunteers across all programs at the food shelf to continue to serve this community.
When not at work, Carol enjoys spending time with her family, reading a good book, taking lots of pictures, and spending time in her flower gardens. She and her husband love traveling to National Parks, but whenever possible, you can find her hiking and exploring on Lake Superior’s North Shore.
