What An Amazing Launch of Heartbeat For Hunger

Heartbeat for Hunger welcomed hundreds of neighbors to the lake for exciting music, community connections, and raised over $55,000 for the food shelf! Thank you to the founders of Heartbeat for Hunger: Joel Moline and Jeff Morris.  They have been organizing fundraising events for food insecurity for over a decade. Now that they both call White Bear their home, they’ve focused their successful Heartbeat for Hunger concert series on the White Bear Lake Area Food Shelf.  We are so grateful for their partnership, friendship, and commitment to helping our neighbors thrive.

On Saturday, August 2nd the stage came alive for an unforgettable evening of music on the beach at White Bear Lake County Park. Friends soaking up the sun and enjoying live outdoor music from YAM HAUS, NUNNABOVE, and CALL ME FRITZ with a cold drink in in their hand along the edge of the crystal blue waters of White Bear Lake. Some neighbors even joined the fun by boat!

Amazing event! Such a Good time with incredible music food and drink’s. Had the best time meeting incredible-humans helping in our community and enjoying a beautiful Saturday. BIG shout out to NUNNABOVE and Yam Haus! As someone that travels the world going to festivals and concerts this was such an amazing night of music. Someone did their job correctly.
