The Food Shelf Team is excited to welcome Amber Parker (left) and Sean Rathburn (right) as Program Assistants!

 

Amber Parker is excited to join the White Bear Area Food Shelf as a Program Assistant!

She has been volunteering at the Food Shelf for the past five years and has really enjoyed helping the community and interacting with our amazing neighbors. She appreciates how welcoming, inclusive, and impactful the Food Shelf is for families, and looks forward to continuing to serve in this is great community.

Beyond her Food Shelf experience, Amber has spent most of her career teaching Spanish. She loves talking with people, learning about other cultures, traveling, and speaking Spanish! Amber also enjoys quilting and spending time with friends and family. She lives in the White Bear Lake area with her husband, three kids, and two dogs.

Sean Rathburn recently joined the White Bear Area Food Shelf in September as a Program Assistant!

He previously worked in the K-12 assessment industry managing state-level programs, along with several years of customer service experience.

With a passion for helping others, he is thrilled to join the team and serve the community where he was raised!

Sean has lived in White Bear Lake or the surrounding area most his life. When he’s not working, he enjoys getting outdoors and spending time with family and friends. You can find him disc golfing, hiking a new trail, or watching the MN Wild.
